Sorry if this has been done to death!

Got myself 5 of these jabs today. I'm 5'3 and over 13st and I'm sick of feeling awful all the time. My weight gain is a mix of antidepressants (which I can't come off of as they also help control my pain from a chronic illness I have) and just my being a greedy cow. I'm obsessed with sugar and coffee and ice cream and everything I shouldn't be. My size 14s are begging for mercy and I have to nap most days because I'm so unhealthy and exhausted.

Anyone had any joy with Saxenda? I'm hoping they'll kick start me then I'll carry on by myself once I've got the first stone off.

Last Monday I was 2lb of 20 stone.
Joined a weight loss club on Monday and started the jab Tuesday. Achieved 5k in steps each day and had no alcohol whatsoever.

A week later I weighed in at 19 stone. (still quite a way to go) I can breathe a bit easier now.

I’m in my 40’s and never lost as much before now in a single week ever!

Even if it just helps give a boost for the first couple of months (in the past I found it only helped for a certain period) it will be good.

I was interested in this but read it increases your risk of getting certain cancers. Is this true? If so was that not enough to put you off ?
