Looking for an accountability buddy/buddies

I am looking to start a thread/group/whatsapp group (?) of accountability buddies. I really need to try something I haven’t tried before. (I will probably get all self-conscious and embarrassed and try to delete this thread tomorrow).
I’m 40, 5’3” and BMI 38, and 30% body fat. I am also breastfeeding my 5 month old baby, so I am not looking to go on any restrictive diet and an insane fitness regime. In fact, after 20 years of going up and down, completely damaging my relationship with food, and killing any joy I got out of exercising I’m ready to admit this approach doesn’t work.
I’d like to be guided by the principles of intuitive eating and joyful movement. I want to be healthy for my daughter and that also involves a healthy relationship with food.

I’d like a group/thread where we post all our meals (I can’t exactly bore all my friends with it or lose all my insta followers) and report any physical activity and discuss how we feel about all of it.
It’s ok if others want to have a more regimented approach to it, count macros or calories, follow some meal plans, that’s all ok. I can keep you accountable. I also know a LOT about nutrition and happy to share and work on meal plans etc (I really enjoy creating meal plans). I just wouldn’t want anyone to follow any drastic fad diets with lots of exclusions, or use lots of negative self-talk (talking about being ‘bad’, having ‘cheat’ days etc). I’d want it to be a positive, happy group focused on improving our health and permanently changing habits that are damaging to us, but still keeping us all accountable to each other on a daily basis.

Is there anyone that would like to join me?

Sounds good to me. I need to make changes and go for a few days then an event/ stress/ celebration etc happens and I go off track.

but I know I don’t want to look this way. I want to feel better in myself.

Hi I think I might meed need something similar but I do feel you should be being kinder to yourself if bubba is only 5 months!

Mine are 12 and 6 years now so I have absolutely no excuse other than I struggle trying to do it alone and husband is a feeder!

Not even sure what my plan of attack is yet but I know I'm 4 stone over where I should be!

This is exactly the kind of binge/restriction cycle I’d like to stop from happening. I don’t want to think of food in terms of “good” and “bad”. I’ve been fighting food most of my life and I want to stop (before I go on and damage my daughter’s relationship with food as well).

thank you. Yeah, I don’t want in any way punish myself. I want to actually feel good and set a good example for my daughter in the future.

i intend to do baby led weaning, so I might actually learn something from her about intuitive eating!

it’s really hard when your partner is on a different page! And you too shouldn’t beat yourself up! You have two children! 5 months ago I had no idea how time-consuming motherhood is 😅

So my day went wrong, I was stupid to think I could begin on ds's birthday! He got his choice of lunch and dinner so I haven't made the best choices.. whoops tomorrow it is!

I did BLW with both mine- loved it!
I think they both have quite healthy attitudes and are both a healthy weight.

I needed a funeral outfit this week and couldn’t get a size 14 to fit. I need to sort myself out.

Hi I'd like to join please! After years of yo-yoing I really lost the plot in recent years with on off Keto and piled on 20lbs. Am working with a dietician to course correct and am now aiming to lose sensibly - slow and steady with a small calorie deficit, weight training and well balanced diet.
