WW or Noom?

I put on 2 1/2 stone during lockdown, then lost it all doing WW. Unfortunately, I quickly put the 2 1/2 stone back on again after a long bout of ill health/stress. I am better now, but just can't get motivated and am exhausted all the time. WW seems to have changed. Just wondering if it's best to try Noom, or go back to WW? Has anyone tried Noom? I have a special event in a couple of weeks which should have motivated me to get back on track but hasn't! Thank you.

I'm doing Noom at the moment and really rate it.

I've lost about 10kgs and still going (though much slower now)

It's really sustainable which I like

I tried Noom but it was too 'chatty' and American for me. But the theory was good.

What is noom? The ads don't really give an idea of what it's about.

It's like WW but there are short articles & exercises that help you pick apart why you're eating too much in the first place, what you can do about it, and how to make choices to support overall health.

Overall though there's a food log, categorising foods based on nutritional density. Nothing is off limits, it just tries to steer you towards lower density foods & limit the high density one. Still calorie counting, it just puts a bit of a spin on it.

There's also daily weigh in which aims to desensitise you a bit and mean you can't hide from your weight.

They make it very very clear though that weight fluctuates in the day and in your cycle so you're looking for a downward trend rather than a loss every day

I had the online WW account during lockdown, was nice to do the exercise classes together and the community aspect was great.
