Any experiences with Allurion?

Hi everyone,
I'm considering the Allurion balloon and am in contact with a private clinic.
What worries me the most about the procedure is having to keep the tube down while the balloon gets inflated and the x-rays are performed, as I have a STRONG gag reflex!
Has anyone tried it? What's the feeling? And did you get good results?

good idea - I’m hoping is a halfway house to a sleeve tbh. Is not just the cost but also the surgery being so invasive that puts me off.

Same. Surgery scares me and there's no way I'd do it, but I'm bored of being on every diet under the sun, seeing slow progress, and falling off my wagon after a few weeks. I've lost the same 10lb literally 15 times now. As you say, I'm hoping this is a kick-start to a decent loss, which would change my habits long term so I could maintain the loss. Might be a bit optimistic, but we'll see! I have a appointment on Wednesday to talk about it with a doctor.
