There are lots of threads for support and numbers on the scale. I thought it might be helpful to have one where we set our specific and realistic goals and then report back on keeping them. (With a focus on the goal, and not the outcome)

What are 2 or 3 healthy behaviours you are going to do this week that will help you move towards your weight or fitness goals? What small changes will you commit to?

Mine for the week of October 3:

  1. Drink at least 1.5L of water every day
  2. Walk at least 5km twice this week
  3. Do not buy a treat for myself of candy while at the store (break a bad habit).

Hi. Can I join you? I've just preregisterd for a crazy fitness challenge climbing 42 flights of stairs then absailing down. I am however 2.5 stone over weight and haven't run since the beginning of the year.

My targets for this week and next are:
To eat fruit for snacks at work and to not eat after dinner. I have hot into really bad habits which need to be broken if I'm to stand any chance of being fit by next September.

How are you getting on?
