My DD is 8 months old and I am now currently the heaviest I have ever been.
I had a pretty rough pregnancy where I suffered severe hyperemesis and had to be medicated. I lost over a stone and a half while pregnant and somehow managed to end up weighing less at full term than I did befote I got pregnant.
The weight i lost unintentionally through constant vomiting has all piled on following the birth, and then some more on top. Prob because I have been able to eat again and have oveindulged on the odd take away.
I want to get back into some form of decent shape.
My diet isnt brilliant so i need to work on it which is fine. Some days i grab something snacky as DD is on the move and i need eyes everywhere!
Previoulsy I did slimming world which just didnt work for me.
Weight watchers which helped but I became fed up with tracking on my phone and it just became a chore and I fell off the wagon.
5:2 which was a dream but I dont think i could function on 500calories with a crawling baby.
At the moment I am still suffering from really low iron levels so have absolutely no energy which doesnt help.
What have others tried after having a baby? What worked best for you? Appreciate not one plan suits everyone but looking for some suggestions.
