What is the best way to lose weight from your tummy/tone your tummy up?
I've got a hula hoop - would that help?

You can’t lose weight from just one area unfortunately but any kind of movement is beneficial if it gets your heart rate up.
My tummy (apple shape) only slimmed down when I made an effort to actually lose weight but it was the last bit of me to slim down, it went off my face, arms legs & bum first!

Well I wouldn't mind the rest of my body losing weight it's just that my main area is my tummy!
I feel disgusting.
I know I should have watched myself more and now I hate myself for it

You’ll have to lose weight in general - as pp said you can’t just lose weight in one particular place - and then work on toning around the middle. Lots of great ab and core work outs on YouTube. There will also be classes at the gym that focus on that area - usually titled something along the lines on ‘tums and bums’ 😄
And be kind and patient with yourself about it. If it’s really bothering you at the moment and you feel like it’s going to take a while to achieve, look into styles and clothing that slim your waste and flatter that area - or flatten it even, there’s all kinds of ‘magic’ underwear out there now. When you see those ‘curvy’ or ‘plus’ size celebs or models with the cinched waist, they are wearing spanx for sure.

I weigh too much (Apple Shaped) and I am working on getting to a healthy weight - started dieting on 1/1/17 and have lost weight although it has been a struggle. I am a work in progress The best thing for me is thinking my body is a vessel for my personality, then I focus on my health and survival and not having the perfect body.

If you are apple shaped due to lots of visceral (internal) fat, you can target that by eating higher protein, lower carb food. Check out the Low Carb Bootcamp board on here!

You can't spot fat loss, just have to lose all over.

Best method imo is being in a calorie deficit.

Ok.

I'm off on holiday on Friday with 2 other people so it's not looking good for this at the minute

Thank you- I will certainly check it out.

My stomach is a huge issue - it is sort of u shaped above my vulva. Fupa?

I do have some waist defintion but not enough to be hourglass.

Hip dips means bum looks square from the back (although not flat with side view) and thighs go straight down instead of curving.

Boobs I am happy with; no issue here.

I really want to be an hourglass- maybe if apple shaped wasn't seen as the worst shape I would be ok with it.
