I have been struggling with my weight for the last 4 years. Slowly putting on weight. I had decided a few weeks ago that I'm going to be good and try cut the snacks ( I don't even drink alcohol) anyway, fast forward to today and I have just weighed myself and I'm 11st12 this evening. I want to cry. I have put on 1/2 stone and I don't know how. It's making me miserable and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I know you can't help but I needed a wee cry

Write down everything that passes your lips: food and drinks.
You'll have a better idea of where you get your calories and what you can cut back on/cut out.

@Homewardbound2022 I'll do this from tomorrow. Thank you for replying to me. It's so depressing

I agree with noting every single thing you eat. Very simply you are eating too much. It's hard, I have just lost a lot of weight after years of putting on so much. I wrote a long post with lots of tips you'll find on here.

Use my fitness pal and note every calorie truthfully. I mean: oil, sweets, dressing and weigh your food. 50g white rice. It doesn't look much!! Eat it? Note it down.

Then reduce your calories & you need to work out what you should be eating. Never less than 1200.

Fill up on protein: 2 eggs for breakfast, lots of chicken & veg & salad.

Lastly, don't give up. Every week counts. It took me 7 months to loose 8kg. Slowly does it.
