15kg to loose. I am so fed up with myself but just cannot do it. No power after work and handling toddler and the whole house. I am not in any rush and do not expect 5 kgs per month. I just want some progress. And its not like i dont have a knowledge. Oh i do, i know all the stuff, i know what i do wrong too and still…what do you do? Feel pathetic.

What I mean is, I don't run, play sport or do any classes. No organised exercise, just getting on with life's all I do. And that suits me.

My advice is don't make it about exercise. Exercise is obviously great for keeping you fit and toned but it isn't the key to losing weight. I know it's a cheesy saying but "abs are made in the kitchen"!

concentrate on eating around 1200 calories a day (do your tdee calculator to get an idea of how many you should be eating to lose weight) and just try to do a bit of activity even if it's a brisk walk round the block - you don't need to be pounding it at the gym.

Limit carbs and if you do have them have whole grain ones - try to make your diet quite protein-based. Drink lots of water and dont weigh yourself more than once a week.

I've lost 2 stone since January doing this - and if you're like me you'll
find once you've lost a bit of weight and are eating healthily you'll have lots more energy and want to exercise.

To answer the OP...

I only eat between 12-8pm
I stick to 1500 calories per day (TDEE is 2200)
I run and go to the gym 4-5 times per week

I'm regularly losing 1lb per week and find this the easiest way, much better than low carbing or fasting (5:2)
