Low carb breakfast ideas

I am trying to reduce the amount of bread I eat as I find it just makes more more hungry however I am struggling to find replacements for my usual slice of bread with peanut butter.

Part of the problem is that I don't eat milk, yoghurt or eggs which rules out a lot of low carb options. I have been having some smoked fish and nuts but it is too expensive to have on a daily basis. Does anyone have an other ideas for quick to prepare low carb breakfasts which don't involve eggs or yoghurt?

Sausage
Bacon
Mushrooms
Cream cheese
Avocado
Roast tomato
Smoked mackerel is way cheaper than salmon

You can make / buy low carb bread or there's a really easy cheese muffin recipe and they are delicious with a bit of peanut butter. Does have eggs in it - would that be ok or not?

Or you can just have dinner leftovers rather than special breakfast food.

I'm currently having Alpro greek yogurt with blueberries, or mixed in with a scoop of sugar free protein powder. Or I'll have a protein shake.

I do have the occasional slice of Vogel seeded bread though, as I can't live without toast and it doesn't affect my blood sugars (diabetic).

Usually nothing but at a push

Fried mushrooms and bacon
Smoked fish
Ham rolled up with cream cheese
Tuna Mayo in cos leaves
Last nights dinner
Oopsie rolls/cloud bread (Google for recipe) with ham, cheese and then toasted (not eggy at all esp when toasted)

Variations on the above

Also if you don't like eggs try making a crust less quiche with lots of flavourings. It will last a week
Two beaten eggs with cream and a massive handful of cheese poured over a base of Gruyère cheese, mushrooms, onions, toms, bacon, herbs. Bake for about 20 mins. Slice into 6 for easy breakfasts

I’m similar, OP, except I do eat eggs but not meat and have low carbed for years.

I 16:8/18:6 most days which takes away the issue. I don’t eat till 2-3pm, by which point a prawn cocktail salad doesn’t look odd.

Thanks FusionChef, cheese muffins sound great, I am fine with egg in things, are they really low carb though?

The low gi bread at Lidl is great but unfortunately I don't have one near mean so it isn't a regular buy. I do make also bread sometimes but would not have a clue how to make it low carb.

There are loads of nut-based granolas online. Buy nuts from Aldi or Lidl and they’re not too expensive to knock up.

quite nice with a good coconut yogurt. (Low carb definitely isn’t cheap in my experience)

Buy large sweet potatoes and slice them length way, bake them in the over until just cooked. Use this instead of bread...top them with whatever you like-eggs,salmon-avocado etc
I usually bake a good few on the weekend and eat throughout the week...
Look up sweet potato toast

Sweet potato isn’t low carb.

Do buy and freeze the bread. Lean bacon with tomatoes, maybe beans and mushrooms etc would be a good choice.

I sometimes have a few sticks of celery spread with peanut butter if you wanted to keep the peanut butter element.

strawberries with a spoonful of creme fraiche are quick and easy.

a slice of ham or salami and a slice of cheese is also nice as a change.
