Do any of you make your own protein shakes for weight loss? I need to be able to have something fast so I don't end up bingeing, but I am not keen on the artificial ones.

I do sometimes. I use Greek yoghurt, frozen spinach, some ground linseed/chia mix, berries either fresh or frozen and almond or coconut milk. I also add half an avocado if I have some. Blitz it in a blender and it makes a great smoothie though usually enough for two people as need to use a lot of liquid with the frozen bits.

I use one scoop of Huel, 150mls milk, frozen fruit, a spoon of peanut butter, top up with water.
Huel is 20g protein per scoop, less artificial stuff than others available

I have to say drinking kefir daily has been the most effective thing in dropping the last bit of weight. Kefir is proven to change your gut bacteria, it’s certainly been life changing for me! It took around 3 months of drinking this daily but I now only go up of down by a couple of lbs and have been like that for a couple of years since starting to drink it. I only have half a bottle per day or it would work out too expensive.
