Ok not quite a couple of months and have had a name change as MN logged me out and couldn't reset the password so had to email HQ.
- After doing Gousto meals I started Fast 800 2 weeks ago. So the total loss since I started in Feb is now 19lbs! So I smashed my target. This has given me the confidence to aim for my goal weight. I usually lose interest with diets so switching to Fast 800 has been very motivating as the weight drops off.
I was very sceptical but it has also been re-educating me about food. I can see it being sustainable long term as I would increase the calories to maintain stage, and have a couple of Fast 800 days a week (so doing the 5:2 basically). So I think I can reach my goal weight in 3 weeks, but I am not obsessing, I am just sticking to 800 calories and trusting the process. As long as I do a couple of walks a day it seems to work. Exercise has not happened but I always find it hard to diet and exercise - too much to balance as you need more food to exercise but the goal is to lose weight, too much to think about adjusting what I eat every day! So once I get to maintain stage I will have to think about a routine. First I'd like to do some yoga as I used to be into it and have lost the flexibility so I will start this on holiday.
- Spent quite a bit on holiday things but they are things I needed and will wear outside of holiday.
In that respect what I bought is quite boring - plain denim shorts, sandals, linen trousers. I picked up a few bits in charity shops - a fab bright linen top, a sun dress , a linen shirt dress that is a bit short but good for the pool. I just don't see the point on spending ££ on clothes that only get worn on holiday. I did buy a flouro coral bandeau top from Next for £7 though which is my fun top! As looks good with shorts, smart trousers or under something sheer.
- I had some success at work due to some earlier things coming to fruition so this has been a helping hand.
I've also tidied my office more so I can work in it now. I had a mind block against it as I think I was burnt out, but losing weight has given me a bit of a refresh and more energy so I feel more motivated. I think I need to set some goals here.
- Having lost weight I had another big declutter and have bagged up 5 charity bags of things I don't like even though I lost weight (was hanging on to them in case I did like them, but can now clearly see I don't!).
I also have a manageable amount of things to sell. It's quite depressing how much money I have wasted on clothes, although to be fair a lot of them were supermarkets, charity, ebay, and I should make some cash from the high street items. I had my colours done last year so am really happy with the things I have kept. I am going to have a big declutter this weekend of the rest of the spare room.
I was thinking I need to set some more goals but actually I think, reviewing the above, I am still completing the current goals, so I just need to improve more rather than start a new plan.
