Feeing a bit weak on diet

I am eating a normal diet not low cal, so not starving myself. However I am used to eating an excessive amount of snacks between meals. I'm feeling really lethargic and weak this week ( my second week). Even though I've had a proper breakfast and it's only 10am now. I would normally eat an excess of 1000 calories a day ontop of my healthy meals. I know, terrible and I have cut these snacks out as understandably I had put on a mass of weight.

Is this weak feeling my body adapting to the shock of not having all those refined carb snacks? I feel like a sloth 🦥

If you’re now eating a reasonable amount of calories, then it sounds like this is simply your body adjusting to having much less food. Depending on how you used to eat all those snacks (i.e. all in one go, or spread out more evenly throughout the day) it could also be the result of your body adjusting to not having a constant stream of calories.

Whichever it is, your body should adjust pretty quickly. More than likely you’ll feel SO much better than you did before as your body is not constantly overloaded with food. It’s a hard habit to break, but totally worth it for that reason alone, never mind the weightloss. So hang on in there! Smile

Your salt levels might be too low.
