Anyone here starting Exante?

I'm just waiting for my 4 week pack to arrive

I'm 5ft 1 and 13st 2lbs, looking to get to around 10st then will reassess.

I work shifts and am a single parent so really struggle with planning meals and having the motivation to cook after work or on the weekends.

Morning all, day 4 for me.
Starting today with a bar, it's not too bad but prefer the shakes....
I'm weighing on Mondays at the moment, but my tummy defo feels less wobbly lol, so fingers crossed.

Hi All

I've read this thread with interest - I am trying to decide what approach to take to losing weight. I feel like I have tried just about everything (including all the plans mentioned here). I like d the Cambridge plan but it was really expensive, I couldn't stomach any of the Exante products, they made me feel nauseous and new you was ok but didn't like the products as much as cambridge so struggled to stick with it...ugh, not sure what to do! You all sound like you are doing really well though, well done!

You could do a mixture of Cambridge and New You? I've been doing that by default as I had some left over. I bought them off ebay. I've decided I much prefer Cambridge porridge so I have that for breakfast with some berries. Then I have a new you snack, one of their meals for lunch. One of their bars around 4pm and I like their pancakes so I've been having one around 6pm to which I add an egg and some berries. Has been working for me.

Thanks, that's a good idea. I have got a few products left from when I did Cambridge before and I hadn't thought of ebay. The other thing I thought about was doing rejoining Cambridge but doing the step that allows you 2 products and then also 'normal' food. It would then be cheaper but also a bit more flexible. I'm not sure what the weightloss would be like on that approach though.

Hippywannabe · 14/01/2022 17:56

@Gemi33 New You Plan does that with their Switch program where you can have a couple of packs and a meal. There is a FB group which is separate to the other one qhere it is just packs .

I found the Slimfast Vitality shakes quite nice and they are reasonable. (on Ebay very cheap for ones short dated I noticed). Might be worth a try.

How's everyone getting on? First week 7lbs down so I'm pretty chuffed! Finding myself just not hungry though, had 1 product today and the thought of anymore makes me feel so full and ugh!

How many are people having a day? I haven't lost any but think I am eating too much..

10littledinosaurs · 16/01/2022 23:11

@Orangesandlemons77 I try and have 4 but it's a struggle! Why do you think you're eating too much

OP posts:
Orangesandlemons77 · 17/01/2022 10:27

I try and have four as well but haven't lost any...going to try intermittent fasting with it and see if that helps

Orangesandlemons77 · 17/01/2022 11:34

I am thinking of changing to 3 plus a high protein (Greek) yoghurt for a bit of variety and maybe that would help. Only other thing I can think of is I do drink a lot of coffee and it has milk in it...

10littledinosaurs · 18/01/2022 21:36

Nearly caved today, had justeat open with my order ready to click the button and I really, really had to stop myself. Had some Swedish Meatballs instead just to eat something different. Not sure on calories but pretty proud I didn't break Smile
Going to try and not weigh til Sunday because when I see losses I always think "oh this won't hurt, that won't hurt" and I've been weighing every day! 9lbs down so far and happy with that

I'm finding weekends tricky. Trying to cut down on wine- I mean that's not good is it. Not surprised really I haven't lost anything yet. I should try a dry January but it's hard when DH is having a glass (or two)

Had a delivery from Exante yesterday and the box was huge! Probably as quite a few tubs of porridge and noodles etc...I find the tubs tend to be nicer than the packets sometimes

Had the chocolate porridge for breakfast today. Going to try going for a swim. I might try going to 3 products a day instead of 4 if still not losing...but not sure if that's a good plan or not.

Blueuggboots · 22/01/2022 09:06

I've been doing exante since the end of November. I've lost 11lb so far but have had the odd day of eating what I want.

10littledinosaurs · 22/01/2022 11:54

So 2 weeks in and I lost 4lbs this week, so 11lbs in total! Quite pleased with that as I'm 5ft nothing and usually lose much slower, I was expecting no loss after the initial water weight whoosh on week 1!

Orangesandlemons77 · 23/01/2022 11:50

Well done!

I'm finding things easier now I'm into a routine...keep going

Orangesandlemons77 · 26/01/2022 16:43

How are you all doing?

Getting the 'not hungry' thing now and lost a few pounds which is good!
