Decadent December

Its been a long, difficult year once, so I thought maybe we could all be a bit decadent in December whether or not this involves food.

I'm starting at nearly three pounds up since last month, but I did have Covid so it was an abnormal low., 8st12.5. Aiming to go for damage limitation throughout December.

Thanks @HeyGirlHeyBoy, I find fasting is helping with the PMS, as otherwise I would stuff my face every day. It's like I have zero control when it happens.

Sounds as if everyone is doing well. Weighed in this morning, 8st13, not been getting enough steps recently which hasn't helped.

Morning! Had a lovely night out last night but three drinks after months of none and I'm exhausted Grin Gorgeous food and completely healthy imo, plenty of protein and veg with my carbs Wink Three meals today, litres of water for survival and an early night are on the cards!

My steps have been awful this week too @Octopus37 - yesterday I did 15,000 but every other day has been about 9,000. I was supposed to meet DP after football today and go for a few bits in the shops then tea, but the rain is torrential so he messaged to say not to bother and he will pick up dinner on his way home instead. I bet he is so cold and wet.

10/7 here again today.

I don't usually log on a Saturday but really I'm just checking in and a little bit curious with myself as I was quite OK with eating something I am not usually aiming to a day or two on weekend but strangely, I'm not bothered so I'm not going to.
Porridge on milk with banana, two coffees
Chicken curry and rice, small enough portion
Lasagna and peas
I know, not restrictive but it's the lack if feeling 'It's Saturday, eat all the sugar,' that's surprising me!

Morning all, not posted for a few days as life’s been a bit hectic and I’ve completely fallen off the wagon again Blush too much food and not enough movement. I did weigh on Friday and was 10st6lbs. DH and I have been talking about joining a gym and are going to look into that this evening. I think it would do us both good even if we only went a couple of times a week each (a bit of time to ourselves away from the children and paying a monthly fee would encourage us to actually go etc). Hope everyone has a good day

I weighed in this morning, think I might go back to daily weigh ins to keep on top of it, 8st13.75. At the moment I can see myself starting the new year with an extra half stone and I dont want that, its just a case of telling my body that, when all it wants to do is be lazy and eat stodge.

Sounds delicious Judy. I have actually downgraded my steps goal to 9k to be a bit kinder to myself in the winter. Quality sleep much more of an aim for me, knowing I get a decent bit of activity and fresh air in each week. Seems to be working well. A little off course to day, as there has been baking (tho i didn't touch the choc cake last week so credit to me for that!!)
Berries and Greek yoghurt and cappuccino
Halloumi burger with roast veg and fries
3 plain buns
The burger was at around 3and v filling so didn't bother with an evening meal (and ate buns instead! Blush)

9st1 this morning, I know I've been eating for the sake of it. Had one of those days yesterday where I just ate and ate cause nothing would satisfy me. I am going to focus on eating more mindfully and not getting enough steps really isn't helping. Think I'm one of those people who really feels it mentally if I dont get out of the house enough. Going to turn things round this week.

After a week of hardly making it to the gym and stuffing myself with celebrations and other treats, I am down a little on this time last week.

11st 9.2 today. I have to keep reminding myself just how far I've come and how the weight is coming off.

I think we are all getting to that hectic time now, and it will definitely be trickier to eat well, and to get that exercise in. I'm currently contemplating a family swim on Christmas Day. My gym is in a hotel, and they are open Christmas Day,

9st1 again this morning, did well with water yesterday, better with steps and a bit better with food. Aim to do better again today. @HeyGirlHeyBoy it was certainly one of those Mondays, think we've got lots of rain today as well.

Morning. No weigh in here today as we had chinese last night. I managed to only eat half.

I'm hoping Christmas isn't going to be too excessive. Not really feeling it this year and am off chocolate and sweet stuff lately anyway. Definitely burn less calories in the holidays though as there's more lounging around - I am not very disciplined about exercise and haven't been going to the gym lately.

After fasting yesterday I am .5lb heavier today. This is a new, and a sure sign there are some strange gremlins at work in my body. It is hard not to be down about it, but I have faith that it will improve soon.

Well done Judy and octopus. I had an identical day Nutella so that was 2 in a row.. Not good. Will weigh so I knownfri weigh willnjust be to decrease today's if that makes sense. Back to basics with my goals, 3 meals, lots of water, 10.30 bed.
