Tier 3 weight management

Hi all, I’m just after experiences of anybody who has been down the path of tier 3 weight management on NHS. I was referred 4 months ago and had my first appointment last week. The dietician was so lovely and first question was is surgery an option for you. I replied yes and she said great, I’ll send you a list of vitamins that you need to get started on. I was a bit surprised as I had read there was a lot of hoops to jump through if you will. Anyway, just some stories on how other peoples journeys have gone and realistically the waiting time from first appointment to surgery. From what I’ve read it’s a minimum of 6 months on tier 3?
