Well not so much a poem, as another song (I'm better at songs than poems).

This one is to the tune of the James Brown song "I Got You (I Feel Good)"

¸ø¤º°°º¤ø,¸¸ø¤º°°º¤ø,¸¸ø¤º°°º¤ø,¸¸ø¤º°°º¤ø,¸

Whoa-oa-oa! I feel good, I knew that I would, now
I feel good, I knew that I would, now
So good, so good, I lost weight

Whoa! I feel great, I watched what I ate
I feel great, I watched what I ate
So great, so great, I lost weight

When I say no to some more
I know what I'm doing it for
and When I say no to some more
My scales will tell me the score

and I feel great, I watched what I ate
I feel great, I watched what I ate
So great, so great, I lost weight

When I say no to some more
I know what I'm doing it for
and When I say no to some more
My scales will tell me the score

and I feel great, I watched what I ate
I feel great, I watched what I ate
So great, so great, I lost weight

Whoa! I feel good, I knew that I would, now
I feel good, I knew that I would
So good, so good, 'cause I lost weight
So good, so good, 'cause I lost weight
So good, so good, 'cause I lost weight

¸ø¤º°°º¤ø,¸¸ø¤º°°º¤ø,¸¸ø¤º°°º¤ø,¸¸ø¤º°°º¤ø,¸

Rather suspect that I've scuppered my chances for this week, after helping ds to make gingerbread men yesterdday, and having to sample the results!

WEEK 46 ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Yorkiegirl 0.00 28.50
Muminamillion 1.00 8.00
Lunarsea 1.00 67.00
2.00

Well done everyone!!!

I'm afaid you've got me for the next couple of weeks as Yorkiegirl is changing her internet provider.

As you may notice I am not weighing this week and have decided to leave things until the new year as I have lost all motivation. Thinking about getting some Slimming World books and giving that a whirl after a little break.

Fennel · 20/11/2004 09:04

wasn't online yesterday so I missed emailing my week's loss but it's 2lb off, 18lb in total

glad to hear you enjoyed Prague, miam

miam · 20/11/2004 09:23

It was absolutely gorgeous Fennel. We are going to try and get back again soon. (And the food was gorgeous too....)

Demented - I have lost a total of 11lbs now - not 8!!! I know you said you were rubbish at maths....

Demented · 20/11/2004 09:39

Ahem well I didn't want to say anything but someone's been playing silly beggars with the spreadsheet and it's all gone to pot, will try and adjust.

How was Prague miam?

Lunarsea, I think your total loss is wrong too?

miam · 20/11/2004 13:20

Fabulous - we are definately going to go back. Oh and the food and booze are sooooooo cheap (shouldnt be saying that on this thread I suppose) and I definately made the most of both! Had pastries, gorgeous cakes and doughballs with everything!! Everywhere is cobbled, even the pavements and I wore really really high boots and fell over about 50 times and have loads of bruises on my bum! Mind you, the amount of alcohol I consumed may have had just a little part to play too

Yorkiegirl, it would be up to you, I personally am clueless about spreadsheets and wouldn't know where to start, Beccarollo designed the existing one and when I took over the spreadsheet my DH tinkered with it to get it to export the weekly totals etc. My DH has had another look at it and said that the formula has become corrupted again and also that there is a row on the bottom called something like a self-expanding formula which no data should be put in and there was data in it which confused the whole thing, he has put some text explaining this in the bottom row and said that when adding a new person it is better to insert a row in the middle of the spreadsheet somewhere.

Hope you didn't think my post earlier was cheeky, I didn't mean it like that, it was meant lightheartedly, but on reading it back I can see it may have sounded cheeky. Sorry if it did, it wasn't meant.

Demented · 20/11/2004 20:44

miam that's what you get for wearing high boots and drinking! Bet the streets weren't cobbled at all!!!

Sounds fab though must convince DH to take me!

May be a good idea Yorkie. My DH says its something to do with when you add a new person, the problem is I am utterly clueless about Excel and he showed me exactly what to do and I copied but I can't explain it very well. Becca's original didn't have the export feature and I think that's the bit you need to be careful with when entering a new member, you have to copy the formula down into the next row and also the self-expanding bit at the bottom. I asked him to show me last night exactly what he was doing to fix the formula and he may as well have been talking Greek!
