I'm a person who finds eating makes me hungry..... I'm truly astonished at the sheer amount I can actually put away, and often feel hungry just an hour after a huge meal

A friend of mine has lost weight doing the one meal a day plan. I think I could do this as I'm never hungry until I eat. She told me she checked it out with her GP beforehand and was told there's no actual health risks but to ensure you drink loads of water as it's easy to get dehydrated and factor in getting all your nutrients in one meal

Possible cons I can think of -

  • bad example to the kids?
  • feeling weak at work?
  • No energy to exercise? (My friend swears she has more energy and feels more focused and alert not less)
  • getting all my five a day plus other nutrients in one meal will take some advance planning!

Has anyone done this who would share their experience? And can you recommend some good balanced meals? I have about two stone I need to lose to get within a healthy BMI
