Meal Replacement Shakes & Diets

I have a health assessment through work on the 19/10 and I'm going to use that to drop some stubborn pounds of weight that have piled on and stuck.

I've put a few long term healthy habits in place but as I'm running out of time I'm wondering if a short blast of a meal replacement diet would help me reach my goal and kickstart a next level of effort.

Has anyone used meal replacement diets? Did they work? Which do you recommend? Or which should I swerve?

Any help welcome!

They are revolting. I was permanently nauseated and had diarrhoea. Tried several varieties. lost some weight, but couldn't cope with them

I found that intermittent fasting works far better than shakes which are essentially chemical cocktails rather than food.

I like doing 16/8 (eating from 8am to 4pm fits my day well) - your appetite naturally decreases and it's not taxing.

It's not a good idea to do a quick fix unless you are going to radically overhaul your eating habits once you stop or the weight will go back on and then some.

Do you need to do it quickly?
