I started losing weight at the start of June to help with my fertility. I'm having investigations for PCOS at the moment and it's looking likely that I will be diagnosed, I hadn't had a period since August 2019 and before that they were always pretty irregular. I'm at the age where I'm starting to thinking about having children and all going well will start TTC in a couple of years but I know that at my weight I wouldn't be eligible for any fertility treatment so I wanted to start losing the weight now so that I have plenty of time. It will be upsetting enough if I struggle to conceive, never mind then having to shed loads of weight to get any help.
I've lost 1 stone 8 pounds so far which is only a small bit of the weight I need to loose but yesterday my period arrived!! I'm so happy! It's so motivating to know that my body is benefiting from the weight loss already.
No point to this thread really, I just wanted to celebrate my small win. Hope everyone is doing well!
