Fantastic Yorkiegirl - keep it up!

And miam - where's this week's poem? Definately your turn this time. Talking of which, would anyone mind if I re-posted the mamas Christmas Carol on a thread of it's own, so people who didn't spot it on last week's thread get a chance to see it too?

miam · 09/11/2004 10:07

Oops sorry!!! Here it is then, better late than never!

It's week forty-five
Is our goal now in sight?
Is your will-power alive
Or just taken flight?

Let's keep fighting on,
We can do this - we MUST!
We'll soon have flat tummys
Tight buttocks, pert bust.

So come on you girls,
Keep right on - keep it up.
And soon you will see
All those pounds quickly drop!!

Well done Yorkie - absolutely fab! I seem to be stuck now - lost 7lbs on first week of Atkins induction, 1 lb on the second week and keeping going up and down a pound ever since!! Am sticking to it perfectly, and hoping it will show this week. Am going to Prague this weekend though - how am I going to deal with that?????

Hulababy · 09/11/2004 10:24

Excellent Yorkiegirl - well done

Demented · 09/11/2004 10:29

Wow Yorkiegirl!!! That's amazing!

miam, I've always wanted to go to Prague, hope you enjoy it!!!

Fennel · 09/11/2004 10:38

yorkiegirl that's fantastic! don't know how you can lose that much in a week.

MIAM - enjoy Prague. when I went it was a great weight loss place for a veggie as there were no meals which didn't focus on meat. I came home leaner and hungrier. I think it's probably changed though, that was 1991.

I also find going to work more slimming than being on maternity leave, even with a very sedentary job.

roisin · 09/11/2004 18:45

Wow! Well done Yorkiegirl! New slimming world tip ... be a primary school teacher for a week?!

Another pound down and still going strong miraculously!! I REALLY need to exercise, but have to do something from home. A fitness video would be ideal, but as I dont have a TV that idea is out the window. Can anyone suggest anything else?? Hope you all did well this week. xx

Fennel · 12/11/2004 09:27

2lb off this week

that's half way between my post-baby grossness and pre-pregnancy goal.

have been doing more swimming and cycling so am pleased it's making a difference. MIAM, I find it really hard to do exercise at home, I just don't bother, for me I have to get out. what about an exercise bike in front of the TV?

Fennel · 12/11/2004 09:29

oh, sorry, exercise bike not in front of the non-existent tv! in front of the radio?

Demented · 12/11/2004 16:37

miam, you don't need exercise videos when you have this available on your PC (you need to join but it's free).

PS Don't let DH see it!

Yorkiegirl, do you want to send the spreadsheet back to me and I'll have a look at it?

miam, call it devine retribution but I attended a special aerobics class this evening (don't usually go on a Friday night) and the guest instructor did "Call on me", she had us pelvic thrusting, doing "sexy push-ups" (as she called them), the lot, needless to say I was a bit , I have two left feet anyway and although I love my aerobics classes and don't mind a bit of dance stuff that was a bit much for me tonight , felt like a pratt!

Demented · 12/11/2004 22:16

BTW well done everyone!!! Especially Yorkiegirl, fantastic!!!

Cadbury · 13/11/2004 20:43

Did you not get my email yorkiegirl?

miam · 13/11/2004 21:34

Yorkie - I think my total loss should be 10lbs this week - I had lost 9lbs by last wk and another lb loss this wk???? Hope this is right or I will cry....

Fennel - lol at exercise in front of radio! Can you see me doing aerobics to The Archers?? Mind you, I do boogie along to the radio when I'm doing the housework - surely that is a form of exercise??

Demented can just see you in your leotard, legwarmers and sweatband doing pelvic thrusts in Jane Fonda-like style!!! Ooer. Too much like hard work for me. Tried to open the music link, but couldnt download it. Boo hoo.
