Feeling down about weight loss

Mummyoftwo91 · 12/06/2021 21:34

I've lost just over 2 stone since January, 12pounds left until I've reached my goal weight of 3 stone, I've been feeling a lot more confident which is nice, today I went to a friends event, I've been tagged in some pictures and it's made me feel really down about my weight, when I look in the mirror I feel fine but in the pictures I look huge, it's making me not feel happy with what I've achieved so far and I can't shake that feeling off now! I'm thinking I'll use it as motivation to help me reach the end goal but still can't help feeling mortified

We are our own worst critics.
Chances are, everyone else seeing those photos are thinking “ Wow! Mummyoftwo has lost so much weight!”
My arms always look like massive hocks of ham in photos, no matter what angle it’s taken at.
Congratulations on your weight loss, 2 stone is amazing! Flowers

I'm about a stone off goal and I also feel disproportionately huge, despite losing 4 stone already. I think the last few lbs will show the biggest difference. Keep going!

Celebrate your success ladies .. those are amazing numbers
If I'd have been in that pic all I'd be thinking is I've lost nothing
Keep going slowly and steadily and be kind to yourself ( and others )
