Glass of Ribena - 107 calories

I thick slice of brown bread and butter - 100

Even just 2fl of mead wine - 90

On the plus side
Cup of tea - 1

1 strawberry - 4

No wonder I have been struggling for months to lose up to 1 stone in weight.
I had decided today to start writing down everything I eat and drink.
It has already become a lot less of a mystery as to where the calories have been hiding themselves!
More strawberries and cups of tea for me, by the looks of things.

It does @GreyhoundG1rl
I am now taking a look at butter.
I sometimes use a spread, but happen to be using butter in the last few days.
The packet says basically 1g is 7 cals.
Doesnt sound much. But I think I put about 12g[tried measuring but need my new mini food scales to arrive] on my bread.
So the butter alone may be 100 cal!

I used one of these bowls to serve DD1 some pistachio nuts. They probably filled â…“ of the bowl, shelled. It looked like barely anything. 300 calories.

@lightand I adore real Irish butter and I find the idea of a low cal spread awful but I think I am going to have to relent !
