Can you recommend a pedometer?

I want to get back into walking 10,000 steps.

Does it really work, i.e. does walking at least 10,000 steps a day make much of a difference?

It must do... it takes a lot of walking-and therefore calorie-burning - to get to 10,000!

I have one (don't often remember to wear it).

I think I get near 10,000 if I walk DS to school (2 miles) and walk round town/supermarket.

If nothing else, it makes you aware of how much you do walk - and encourages you to walk more, to achieve that target.

Have to recommend fitbug as seen on tv diet doctors. A brilliant interactive tool that lets you monitor steps and diet and it links into their website.
