Last half stone not going anywhere

Hi all Grin

As a bit of background, I was pretty slender in my younger days (size 6 but also only 5ft tall so regular BMI). Then I put on a lot of weight. Didn't have kids or anything - just put it on.

A lot of weight loss later, I'm now back at a size 10, which is one size away from my goal of 8 (don't think ever getting back to 6 due to changes in body shape).

I'd say I'm about half a stone from being able to get into pre-weight gain size 8 clothes. However, I've been at this size/weight for months, not losing any weight. Even when I've tried things like 5:2, intermittent fasting and calculated that I've had a 3500 deficit over 2 weeks, it's not going anywhere (can't really eat less as I average 1200 calories a day as assume would not be good in terms of nutrients).

I really don't want to accept that size 10 is my 'new normal,' particularly given my height.

Does anyone have any tips on shifting the last half stone??

Work out. It might not really be the 3kg, it might be the shape? I would do something aimed at muscle and toning.

And congratulations on the weightloss!
