No S Diet

Hello!

I am starting this on Monday.

I need to lose 2 and a half stone-ish.

It is based on a book, called "The No S Diet".

The rules are:

No Sweets
No Snacks
No Second helpings

Except on days beginning with S (Saturday, Sunday and Special Days).

It sounds pretty straightforward and I think thay is the idea. But, from my googling it does appear to work! It also sounds quite sensible and not a 'quick fix', but a good way of forming good habits. I love cooking, so it really appeals to me, that you can plan nice meals, (by which I don't mean obscenely huge ones, but nice meals), and apparently still lose weight.

Would anyone care to join me?

Not heard of this diet. Sounds interesting.

Yes, if you google No S Diet, there is a website and book. Also Google No S Diet before and after photos and there are some really amazing results, so hopefully it will work!

Hi @TheQueensGambit if you're still looking for weight loss buddies I'll try this out. I'm BFing so and there's no hope of me cutting out ALL snacks but maybe I can modify it so my 3am oatcakes count as a small meal or something Hmm.

How are you getting on?

I'd like to join too.

I have two stone to lose, and I like the idea of a sensible approach to mealtimes. Sweets and snacks are my downfall.

I also do a lot of cooking from scratch, so it sounds doable. Not eating that differently to the rest of the household has a lot of appeal.
