I've decided couch to 5k

Soooo I've finally decided on a plan. I'm going to try the couch to 5k I was going to join a gym but my sons in part time nursery and I have no childcare to go any other times, meals will be home cooked with majority of the portion been veg or salad. Has anyone had any success stories and any stories of how they lost weight but didn't get the saggy legs or bingo wings

Also Where's best to get running trainers from please and what brand I have wide feet so I tend to only wear Nike and Adidas x

It's brilliant. Stick with it and repeat weeks if you're struggling. It took around 6 weeks for the inches to start noticeably dropping. Minus 2 stone now. You won't regret it Just watch your food/snacking if, as you said, it's for weight loss. I could've eaten the fridge at some points after the longer runs and had to really fight the urge to binge. Water helped..good luck @TaniaL

thanks so much im so determined for myself confidence and health benefits, i dont drink alot but ive just bought 4 packs of 24 waters so theres a start lol - do you have any advice on footwear so its more comfortable - well done on your weightloss!!!

Go to a proper running shop and get your gait checked by them, and some advice on shoes. You don’t have to buy what they recommend but it’s useful to know and they will give you advice on the characteristics you should be looking for in a shoe.

It might seem like overkill for something like c25k but it’s worth it!
