In week fourty-two here's our rhyme:
With only 10 weeks left to Christmastime
We're trying hard to avoid the temptations
Or cheese and wine and sweet sensations.
Never mind if we're saint or sinner,
What we all want is to be thinner.

LunarSea · 15/10/2004 23:07

duh - line 4 should start with OF, not OR.

Hello everyone. I did talk about posting on this thread a while back but my weigh in days have always been too late to join in. Progress report though : I have been on a low fat eating drive, taking Xenical to help for 4 weekss and I've lost 13 pounds! rather pleased with myself but lots more to go. Ultimate goal is 7 stone which woulkd take me into normal ranges. I haven't been that eeight for 17 years (since I was a teenager). For nooow, I'll stick to a few ponds at a time. Thanks for the poems, they raise a smile and a are an encouragement. Good luck and good will power everyone.

Oooh tell us about Xenical Cadbury? (DH checking his mails again) Is it legal??? Herbal? Do you need a prescription? Might need it when I return! Digestion´s gone all to pot and I feel mega bloated all the time!

I've lost another pound this week too!

wasn't expecting to as ate loads for most of the week (double helpings of bread and butter pudding etc) but was "saved" by a mild stomach bug, every dieter's best friend

harrassedmum · 20/10/2004 15:40

Hi yorkiegirl, i tried sending my results last week, did you get my email?

Demented · 21/10/2004 19:19

I've had a tentative step on the scales and think I have put on about half a stone!!! Arrrrrrrrrrgh! I'm never going on holiday again! No wonder the bikini felt fine the first few days, then I switched to a tankini to cover a bit of my back that got sunburned, and when I put the bikini back on for the last few days I felt very uncomfortable and self conscious in it!

Not weighing officially this week so you won't hear from me tomorrow Yorkiegirl but will be back next week and hope that by some miracle I will not be carrying an extra half stone!

roisin · 21/10/2004 19:38

Hello! Welcome back! Tell us all about your hols! (And don't worry about the weight - that's what holidays are for!)

bunnyrabbit · 22/10/2004 11:34

Well I've been so bad this week, and my new scales make me 11lb heavier than my old ones anyway, so I refuse to weigh myself!! I'm off on hols tomorrow anyway so will face the horrible truth on my return!!

BR
