When do you start to lose weight?

I have a beautiful baby who is six weeks old but despite eating hugely healthily and walking lots I haven’t lost a pound. Not expecting the weight to drop off hugely but I thought by now I’d have lost something?! My question is: does your body keep hold of extra fat straight after birth? I’m not breastfeeding. No interest in joining a slimming club/ going on a formal diet as I know about eating healthily. Anyone else have this experience to begin with and when did it change? Starting to get me down a bit

Hi there OP.

I didn't want to leave your question unanswered. Sorry to hear you're feeling down about this. Hopefully someone will come along soon who can share their experience, but in the meantime, congratulations on the birth of your baby! Six weeks is no time at all, so go easy on yourself!
