Chloe Ting Challenge anyone?

I'm finishing the 2 week shred programme today and I must say I do feel quite a difference, my nonexistent abs are actually somehow alive now. I was very much unfit before I even did this challenge. I'm 1.65m and weighted 67.5kg.

I did have a very slow start which slightly discouraged me but the fact it was a challenge made me feel literally challenged so couldn't let it beat me! I'm now 65kg and feel my core is a lot more firm but I still do have a decent amount of belly fat but it's only been 2 weeks so I should probably have some patience with the weight loss

I'm about to start the 2020 4 week summer shred programme tomorrow and just wondering if anyone has done any of her programmes before or interested? I wouldn't mind a motivation buddy Grin

All her programmes and videos are free so you can check them out on her website or YouTube channel if you're curious.

It haven't tried her yet but I am planning to after I finish my current program (Jillian Michaels Body Revolution). Two weeks is not very long. I guess it's to entice people into staying with the longer programs. Two weeks sounds manageable to someone starting out. I really like Chloe - I find her very personable but I haven't tried her workouts yet.

Chloe Ting is really good. I want to try more.

I just finished the two week shred programme on Sunday and I've started her summer shred one from 2019 and I'm loving it!

I've tried a bunch of these challenges by other people but somehow I just couldn't really connect to the person I'd say ? But for some reason Chloe just really gets me into it and I secretly love the fact that she looks so idk normal when she does them. Like I'll even see her gasping for air or even messes up sometimes and trips which I find makes her seem a bit more 'normal'. Most other people try so hard to look perfect on their vids that I don't identify with them at all, it even makes me feel a tiny bit weak.

I'm on day 5 of the shred - rest day woo! How did you find it OP?

waterandsunrays · 16/06/2020 19:08

Are you doing the 2 week one? I found it quite good tbh. Almost did a second round but chose the 2019 summer shred instead (tried the 2020 for a day and I just didn't like it for some reason)

I had no significant changes during the first week as I wasn't very strict with my diet and had a few cheat meals but then second week I really put all my effort into it and I can definitely see some changes, they're mostly noticeable on my abdomen area (also my biggest insecurity).

I still struggle with some of the exercises like the up and down plank, mountain climbers, etc. I can do a few reps but not the entire circuit.

Now that I'm on this new challenge she's really beating my ass with the cardio but I really do feel the burn! I don't think I've ever been so motivated.

How have you found it?

@waterandsunrays yes, the 2 week shred. I want to tone up my stomach too so good to hear that you've had positive results from it.

I've been doing a couple of modifications so the exercises like doing the up and down planks from my knees, but I'm hoping that by the end of the two weeks I will work my way up to doing them on my feet! Apart from that I've been enjoying it, it's more intense than my previous videos I was following - Hasfit - but I'm hoping it will give me a good boost Grin

Newhouse76 · 17/06/2020 15:27

This looks good - how do you access it? Is it youtube?

applepineapple · 17/06/2020 17:13

Day 6 done Grin feeling good, I like the lower body video which was part of the set today. Nearly halfway through, it's going quite quick.

@Newhouse76 yes, search Chloe Ting on YouTube and she has lots of playlists with the different regimes on her channel. She also has a website with them all listed on Smile

Day 7 done! Definitely feeling it today, especially in my lower back and weirdly, left arm! Not seen too much change on the scale but I have had two bad days of eating. I did also eat a bag of sweets earlier during a rather boring meeting but I'm trying to look at it positively: I did want them and it has got rid of them from my cupboard so no more temptation there Grin

How's everyone else doing?

Yankathebear · 05/07/2020 12:07

Are any of you still doing this? I’ve been looking at her videos but am waiting to recover from a shoulder injury!
I don’t really need to loose weight but want a less squishy/pregnant look stomach and a perkier bottom! I’ve been looking at the hourglass challenge.

justanotherneighinparadise · 14/11/2020 19:05

Bumping this to see if anyone is going to start doing it soon? I am completely unfit and I’m not sure if I should try and get a level of fitness before I start 😬

Audreyseyebrows · 14/11/2020 19:16

I tried this but didn’t get far! I would be up for starting again!

justanotherneighinparadise · 14/11/2020 20:04

Ooooh nice. Perhaps we can do behote she after pics?

justanotherneighinparadise · 14/11/2020 20:04

*before and after

Audreyseyebrows · 14/11/2020 22:07

I’m not sure that I would be up for sharing photos on here I’m afraid!
