I am pretty overweight (in the obese category by about 7lbs) and peri menopausal and I feel like I've tried everything to lose weight without much success.

I am pretty active - I run half and full marathons several times a year - but just cannot seem to shift any weight.

In desperation I've got myself prescribed Saxenda online. I've just taken my first jab.

Just wondering if there are any other Saxenda users out there? Feel a bit nervous about what I'm doing.

So, I've been on Saxenda for a week now. I've lost 5lbs in a week which I am so pleased with. Not had any side effects really, apart from a few days feeling tired mid week (so upped my calories a bit) and a bit of constipation.

I'm eating around 600-900 calories a day, mainly before 1pm, and then just sticking to coffee and water. I ate more on Saturday as went out for dinner so didn't take my jab that day, but still ate sensibly and didn't over stuff myself.

I'm really not hungry or bothered about eating at all which is a revelation to me.

Hopefully, I'll lose some further weight in the next few weeks.

I used it in the past I lost a stone in a month I want to order another now as I’ve put it all back on a year later 😂

I started taking it 6 Jan and have lot 10 kilos (22 lbs) so far using it in conjuntion with gym and my fitness pal sticking to about 1200/1300 cals a day
I have had no side effects apart from slight irritation at injection site and am so pleased with my results. I have two stone more to lose and hope to do this over next few months and maintain my average loss of 2/3 pound a week.
Its not a miracle cure but I can honestly say that I dont feel hungry much and think about food much less so really helps when you have no willpower.
