Too scared to do starting weight!

Help!

Need to lose quite a significant amount of weight & the last time I was weighed was over a year ago at hospital. My weight was a huge shock, but I've definitely put on since then, and now I'm terrified of weighing myself.

Why? MH problems & me hoping my depression about my weight will spur me on has never helped. ED & scared the emotional "fuck it" eating will kick in. Plus, shame, guilt, disgust.

Also - if I do do my starting weight, how often is best to weigh thereafter? Keep reading that daily is best way to keep really hood eye on it.

I've been reading a current AIBU about how ppl have lost weight & it's been helpful as I get myself so confused, then don't do anything.

Any help, support, advice, tips greatly welcomed!!

@pinkyboots1 that's fantastic! I am really low mood today, but popped to Waitrose & made good choices. Tho I nearly cried wanting dessert things. I allowed myself mini Kallo chocolate & coconut rice cakes.

I feel better having got back home & planning on a seasoned chicken breast & salad.

Going to run a bath now, do hair & face masks then eat dinner.
