I need some new exercise DVD recommendations.....especially those that are good for stamina/cardiovascular wotsits rather than strength. Pretty pretty please.

So I get a fair few evenings on my own and it's the best time of day for me to exercise.

I'm strong, really quite strong and have a tendency to put on HUGE muscle if I do any strength building exercise (even stuff like pilates, yoga) so I really do not need to work on those areas at all.

However, I have the stamina of a sloth. If I went out the door for a run (and I have tried), I can only make about 10 minutes!

I'm not hugely overweight (could do with shedding a stone) but I am at a very high risk of heart problems in the future (family history, I have high cholesterol) and weirdly, over the last year, my body shape has changed dramatically and I'm now PILING on the weight around my waist which the doctor has informed me is another risk factor to add in .

So if you have any exercise DVD recommendations, I'd be grateful. I've got the Davina ones so not those.

I thank you.

lol fox...yes Billy's Floor exercises tend to be killers...hence me not favouring his abs and gluts one...far to many floor exercises and to much for me to cope with, even with teh basic one, lol....!
I really like the basic and advance get ripped (different to the everybody get ripped one), but the energise/active one are great, too...only they are the smae thing by a different name within the same set, lol...

I only found out recently that apparently Shelley ( I think her name is) is his daughter...well, tis not the most obvious conclusion is it, lol...heard it on some forum and then checked it out...and apparently it's true....!
The more unfit, etc....probably choose to be in the back, I would think, lol....I know I would, hehe

Yaeh! Another Tae-bo convert!. So glad that you have enjoyed it Foxinsocks. Wait until you try the advanced workout.

The old lady is Madge and she is in her 70s. She is absolutely amazing. That's one of the reasons why I love Tae-bo. It is for everybody no matter your age or size.

I have the Ultimate Bootcamp DVD and all the participants are fit. That tells you how hard it is. It has less cardio and more toning and it kills, especially when using the Billy Bands. Shelley looks as if she has filled out a bit but she still looks awesome, especially her abs.

still wanna get that Bootcvamp set with Blly Bands...glad to hear even shelly filled out...lol....makes one hope...obviously it's not just 1 hour of any exercise even Tae bo that is producing such toned tummy, lol...I wish..........
