Hi Tiggs - congrats! Hope all is going well with your baby Smile I would say make time/get DP to support you in making nutritious meals with well controlled portions for yourself and find time to savour them. And obvs keep an eye on the balance of nutrients you're getting if breastfeeding. I have lost 4st since DS was born in dec (I put on a mega amount of weight in pregnancy) and have been following a mixture of different approaches - but not wolfing down empty calories like I did with DD really helped. Also set yourself mini milestones for eg half a stone lost and plan non food rewards. Eg I had a MAC makeup lesson after one. How much are you planning to lose?

Brilliant thanks for your reply!! Planning on being able to fit in all my clothes from before pregnancy and maybe even lose a bit more 🤞🏻 What sort of exercise do you do if I can ask ? Thanks

Are you bf? It makes a big difference to the kind of diet you can follow.

Great - good luck! I started off v slow as had a section. So lots of brisk walks and back exercises. Having been a chronic over-exerciser in a previous life I'm now firmly in the 80% diet/20% exercise school of thought. Then moved onto exercise bike and HIIT YouTube videos. I now do a run once a week, go to a mum and baby fitness class twice a week (generally 10 mins cardio and 30 mins strength/core), and then anything else if I can fit it in at home but I don't beat myself up if I can't fit it in.
