Weight loss on Yasmin?

Hi all,

Has anyone had any experience of losing weight on the birth control Yasmin?

I’ve been off the pill since having my DD and since then struggled to lose weight, since I started taking the pill a month ago I’ve lost 2 pounds... in that time I’ve been on an all inclusive holiday, plenty of takeaways etc?

Yes- I was on Yasmin for a couple of years when I was about 19/20. Effortless weight loss (but boobs went up a cup size!), super clear skin, from a vanity perspective it was amazing. Sadly it also unbalanced me a bit emotionally which was ultimately why I came off it - I hope there's no such cloud to your silver lining. Smile

Yasmin contraceptive pill? Bloating ?

Is it really diuretic and reduce bloating? I will just before my period on my holiday and I would really want to reduce my water retention and bloating as I get REALLY bloated as if I am pregnant and I would really want to avoid it while I am holiday wear my bikini feeling confident etc. Girls please share you experiences with Yasmin? Or ways to reduce the pre-period bloat? ❤️
