Fitness DVD’s...

Hi, looking for some advice please...

DC2 born 10 weeks ago, initially I was losing weight gradually but my weight is now creeping back up again. I’m very overweight at 13 stone and 5ft3. I’m BF so can’t really do fitness classes etc but I do walk a fair distance daily, and thought that I could do some exercise at home, so was wondering if any of you have used fitness DVD’s that you would recommend? I don’t have much fitness equipment but I do have an exercise ball and one of those balance discs already.

Will be combining my exercise efforts with SW so hoping I get the figures going down instead of up soon!

Any advice appreciated, thank you.

Should also mention that I’m very unfit, so something that builds up gradually would be ideal.

I've found Davina Mccall's HIIT routines really effective. 7 minute routines plus warm up/cool down.
I started with Fat Blaster and Tone snd Sculpt, very easy to follow at your own pace.
I also do the Rebecca Louise workouts from time to time, she has a You Tube channel and you can sign up to have workouts emailed to you.
I tried the Gillian Michael's beginner shred, I nearly died trying that one lol!

I was seriously unfit and obese so I started off with 80’s type dvd as it was low impact (can post the links if you want).

I also do Leslie Sansone Walk away the pounds. It’s only 15 minutes so ideal with little ones but I do 3 to 4 miles of it and I’ve added weights and a step board into it. She’s on YouTube.

Low impact won’t be fast but I’ve lost 6 stone doing them and its really help me get to a good fitness level.

So after about 6 months of those I’ve graduated in c25K and Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred, there’s a beginners one too. On the exercise forum Shred, Insanity, Beach Body etc are the ones that get fast results but are very intense.

I found the best thing was to watch them through first. If I had to start with a high impact one I wouldn’t have been able to handle them.
