How much weight could I realistically aim to lose within 4 weeks by eating healthier and increasing my walking activity, plus maybe including some skipping for added cardio. For a healthy 50+ medium build female.

IME, not a lot.
Unless you are currently eating really, really, really badly so it was a massive change.

Five pounds?

Redfooty · 03/08/2018 00:51

Tops.

My wife lost 11lbs in 5 weeks.
She was eating proper food as I had the same . Drink a lot of water to reduce water weight. Eat higher proteins .

I reckon half a stone should be doable. But it depends entirely what you mean when you say 'eating healthier'. It's diet that's the key to weight loss.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 03/08/2018 00:58

I think you could lose more than 5 lbs OP. With healthy eating, strictly no crap, no alcohol and taking exercise, I think you could lose 2 - 3 lbs per week safely.

Am already eating relatively well so don't think I'll be able to cut back by much, I guess increasing my movement will be the key. Toning is really my aim rather than a weight loss. Thanks for the responses!
