Dress size vs weight loss

I’m perplexed! I’ve lost nearly a stone in 2 months and started exercising a lot more - I feel great but haven’t gone down a dress size and don’t understand why. Could it be my age? I’d put on weight over a few years and am only 6lb off my original weight and was hoping to fit into my old clothes soon!

I’m spending this year doing more stuff for me little things like going to bed early to read or a long Sunday bath are definitely giving me more headspace & motivation

Smile This is fabulous - I am definitely guilty of putting myself last and I’ve also made some changes. I have taken up a hobby and am attempting to do something social each month without dc. I’m also curling my hair a lot more because it looks pretty and it’s worth the extra half an hour in the morning Smile

I’ve now lost exactly a stone Smile which I’m delighted about about only 5/6 lb from target.
Old jeans are not even close to fitting but dresses are feeling more comfy/ loose.
I’ve decided when I reach target that I will get rid of everything too small

Hurrah eatrepeat. That feels good, doesn't it? May I join you in the felicitations as I also have lost a stone!

Yesterday I got out my box of clothes that are too tight, and tried them all on, and lots of them are now wearable. That feels better.

I'd like to lose another 9 or 10lbs but we'll see how that goes.
