A Question about the Cambridge Diet

Does anyone know why you can't do the Cambridge Diet if you've just had a baby and why you have to wait til the baby is 3 months old?
I'm not breastfeeding, feel fine and had ds2 3 weeks ago.
I went on the Cambridge Diet last year and successfully lost 4 stone in 3 months and it is honestly the only diet which works for me,as it's the only one where I don't have to think about food.
I put on 5 stone when pg so need to get back on the diet asap and 3 months seems like ages to wait.
I have actually found another counsellor today who I got a weeks supply of packs from and I haven't mentioned the baby yet,but feel a bit deceitful,so just wondered what the logic was behind the 3 month rule,if anyone knows please.

Thanks.

you need to give your body time to recover. 3months will fly by!
