How do I maintain the weight I’ve reached?

I’ve lost 1.5 stone during the last three months by cutting out fried foods, cakes and alcohol. I’ve now reached my goal and don’t want to lose anymore (I was anorexic 20 years ago and don’t want to return to those dark days again) but how do I stay at the weight I’m at? Im currently eating approximately 1200 calories per day .

I'll bump a recent thread on this for you OP.

Well done, but obviously you have to be careful given your history.
I lost 4 stone a few years ago (which I've maintained) but originally lost too much because I wasn't eating enough when I needed to maintain and not lose.
You'll get away with eating more (but not too much more) now, but just keep an eye on it obviously. I find exercise great too for maintaining; even small things like a brisk walk to the shop instead of driving.

Many thanks and well done too. That’s my concern . I have a real fear of going too far, it’s like I don’t trust my own judgement when it comes to cutting back and worry I’ll go too far in order to maintain.

Following.

I've lost a similar amount. I'd like to lose another 3lb or so to take me back to my pre-illness and early menopause weight but I'm now deliberately slowing the weight loss. And I'm determined not to drop my goal weight again. I'm not super skinny but I'm in a healthy bmi range and feeling more energetic.

I was advised on another thread to look into reverse dieting. It's interesting but I'm not sure I completely understand it.

I feel like I will need to monitor my eating and weight for ever to avoid regaining. I don't mind doing that but it would be nice not to.

And well done OP Flowers (but not too much Cake!)
