Have nice holiday lalaa!

We're going to dinner tomorrow night (although it may be a BBQ if the good weather keeps up) to a friend who is a very good cook's house, going to try and eat salad all day then can have cake and too much wine in the evening!

Well, have just been whisked away by dh with dd's for last minute trip to Aberdeenshire . Had a lovely time and did lots of exercising - swimming, walking, shopping (is that exercise?). However, what do you do when confronted with a cooked breakfast in the mornings? (Have the healthy continental ofcourse!) Couldn't resist but hope I walked or swimmed off the extra cals. Congrats Yorkiegirl.

Just been to WW, my first week and I have lost 5lbs I am soooooo happy, just got to keep it up now.

Has anyone tried there cappucino chocolate bars (buy them from the meetings) they are lovely and only 1.5 points each, I have one each night with a coffee, I feel like I'm being naughty but aren't

I'm feeling very pleased, finally broke through 10 stone barrier where I've been hovering for about 5 weeks

ArtyAlex · 05/08/2004 23:05

Hi thought I'd introduce myself as I'm new! I'm ArtyAlex. I have 2 daughters, aged 5 and 19 months. I've been married for nearly 11 years. My weight problems started after our wedding when I made us recipes meant for 4 people every night followed by giant bars of fruit & nut. Anyway, I've been on a constant 'diet' ever since - but never lost anything . I'm hoping to change all that from now on.
I hope demented had a nice BBQ (& not too much wine)

MUMINAMILLION · 06/08/2004 08:44

At last ArtyAlex!! Congrats on mastering the net. Believe it or not, I've actually lost a staggering 3lbs this week. That's despite being away in Aberdeen until Monday night and pigging out on cooked breakfasts, fattening dinners and wine! Oh and ice-cream too. Have been incredibly good since then though, so it must have paid off. Hope you are not having really tempting things at the Teddy's tea party!!

ArtyAlex good to hear from you, I did have a fantastic time last week at the BBQ and of course I didn't have too much wine!

I haven't received your weight loss for this week, I know you only usually have internet access on a Thursday so will phone you and give you a personal ticking off!

DelGirl · 06/08/2004 21:52

congrats one and all. Especially to yorkie on your 1st stone . Hopefully I'm not far off mine, unless, of course, I am, you know what!
