I'll join one!
Hi, I'm EM. I'm a childminder and Supergran!! I'm 5'4' and over 13st so need to do something about myself.
I'm curvy and happy with that, but when my fave jeans get too tight that's it. So I started online with WW on Tues, DP doing this too, but with rather less enthusiasm.
I'm veggie and try to eat organic.
I'm quite enjoying WW so far but very early days. I haven't fitted in any exercise so that's my task for this weekend.
Tell me what you are doing maybe we can support one another.

Hi EM, I haven't even gone to a meeting yet but plucked up the courage today to phone the group leader, my 1st meeting will be on Tuesday, I'm dreading the weigh in as I'm sure my scales are on the 'kind' side! Is it easy to do WW online? It must be good having your DP doing it as well, even if lacking in enthusiasm!!
Would be great to support one another, when do you find it toughest?

Hi Shagirl, Earthymama
I've always battled with my weight. I started off obese when I was a child, got up to a dress size 26 and over 17 stone by the time I was 15.
Tried all sorts of things but basically managed to start eating more healthily, became vegetarian and it went away gradually - but I was mostly trying slim fast, or sticking to 1000 cals a day for several years and ended up WAAAAY too thin It became too much of an obsession.
So..... I sorted myself out, but during times when I'm not actively counting what I eat I tend to gain weight.
I've been up and down my whole life. At the moment I'm pretty happy with my weight but have gained a stone in the last 2 months as I went to France with my Nanny Family and there was just loads of bread and cheese :-/ so I'm joining WW as it's really balanced, healthy and I have had a lot of success maintaining a healthy weight on it when I followed the plan with the help of my friends' book.

I don't have much to lose but I do need to motivation and support to maintain that healthy weight!

EarthyMama, were you ever non-veggie? I feel so much healthier, I've been veggie 6 years now. I used to have one or two very serious migraines per year when I ate meat (one knocked me out of action for 11 days) and I havent had one since. Isn't WW so much easier when you're used to cooking with vegetables!?

I'm a WW leader. I can pop into the thread and help out if you need anything?????

I've not seen a ww thread, I'd love to join. I've been doing it for about 8 weeks - lost about 12.5 pounds. Phew! I've got about another 20 to go for goal weight.

Good luck shagirl, I'm on the lardy ladies thread but it's not a ww one, just a general weigh in one.
