Anyone still hanging in there?
I'm size 16 14st at 5.3 which is shocking.
I'm doing my fitness pal and I like being able to eat smaller things of which I like and it's forcing me to make healthier choices.
I've also joined the gym and do some classes twice a week. I walk 8 miles a day in my job so don't see exercise as an issue but I am feeling quite weak and tired days after I have been to the gym. Hanging on in there.
Hoping to have lost a few stone by August. Need to lose 4 stone at least. I keep telling myself if I start in spring or summer I will have wished I had started now.
Keep looking at dresses I want to fit into in the summer and it's keeping me going.

So how's everyone else getting on and what are your goals?

Hi
I deleted the MFP app today as was becoming obsessed with it, I lost over 2st using it 3 years ago, but this time I just can't do it.

13st 10 and 5ft 4 Blush heavier than when I was full term with both my babies babies Shock
Tomorrow I'm starting again, I'm not going to weigh myself until 1st February as I've been weighing daily and getting obsessional about how fat I am Grin

Can I ask how many calories you are allowing yourself per day?

Introvertpants · 15/01/2018 22:20

It is very obsessive actually. That's a great idea about not weighing yourself, I've decided to do the same because like you I am getting on the scales everyday and if its not went in my favour I get even more obsessed.
Mfp is putting me at 1400 cals to lose two lb a week. I am very active though so may seem a little high. I'm trying not to eat my exercise cals though. To be honest I'm finding night times hard. Feel empty handed sat infront of the tv, I'm so used to munching something and my belly is growling at me. Craving after craving but I'm an all or nothing type of girl and I wouldn't stop at one sweet. Blush

Hi. I’m a size 16, 5’4 & 89kg. Have signed up to beachbody on demand & on week 2 & am surprisingly still doing it daily. This is unheard of for me. I’m not sure if I’ve lost any weight. I feel if I way myself it may squash my motivation but I feel better in my fitness & id be happy being bigger & fit than able to wear a crop top 😆 I’ve reduced food portions a lot & not doing diet food just good for quality unprocessed so I’m not going into bread withdrawal as that’s always been my failing. Trying to do a complete lifestyle overhaul in one go rather than stages. I have a lot to lose so am trying to be realistic. I’ve increased my daily steps to 12k so that and a 25 minute workout should be great for my heart if not my stomach section. I was getting too preoccupied with the food logging & the weighing that I was always thinking of the next meal so I deleted it.

introvert 1400 is what I aim for but like you it's the evenings that I fail on, I'm good all day then tend to binge at night, most of the time I'm not even hungry, it's just become a habit.

I'm determined not to weigh until 1st Feb but the scales keep calling me along with the chocolate Grin

That's a lot of exercise echidnas it's the best way to do it like that though as trying to change everything at once usually ends up in us failing.

If I can lose 5-7lbs a month then by summer I will be almost at goal
