Ive slowly started gaining weight after losing 4st but never quite making my target.

Im gutted and dont want to end up back at square one, but my god i am HUNGRY! Literally even after ive eaten im still starving.

Im not doing anything fancy just reduced my kcals. Thing is im only 5'2 and work in and office all day with little chance to exercise so down to between 1200-1400cals a day.

My stomach thinks my throat has been cut. Anyone else in the same boat want to motivate each other through the early days? I have about 1stone 10lbs to lose to actually make it to my target finally!

Sounds cliche but drink water. It makes you feel full for a tiny bit but mainly it's a distraction technique.

Not from a glass - from a nice water bottle. Makes all the difference! ;)

Truly. Or go and brush your teeth it'll put you off eating. But buy a nice water bottle and drink a lot.

And cups of tea. For a treat ;)

Thats exactly what im doing drinking my ice water from a fancy bottle. It normally works well but im chewing my hands! Need to go to bed to wake up hungry all over again Sad

Why do i have to be soo short i want to be able to eat more Grin

What sort of stuff are you eating?

I find that high protein, loads of leafy type salad really fills me up. If you're doing that then add an extra boiled egg / big pile of leaves and that helps.

Also what exercise are you doing? Add some weight training (nothing to do with your appetite but will build muscle)

My typical day is a small bowel of cereal in the morning then tuna sandwhich or chicken wrap for lunch and tea will usually be a small portion of whatever im making for dh and the kids usual home cooked food.

Not very good with salad and leafy foods tbh im so fussy which is why i gain weight because i just cant bring myself to eat it i dont enjoy it in the slightest.

Will start exercising more at night when the hunger calms down Grin

Switch the carbs out for more protein and I think you'd see a difference / not be so hungry
