Ive just been looking at this. Ive never done a VLCD before. Has anyone had any luck with it, and what happens when you get to the end?

I probably have about 3 1/2 stone to lost - Im 5ft 4 and wreigh about 12 1/2 stone but my belly is huge. I dont drink. I dont eat crisps. Im gluten free so dont eat bread or pasta (tho have just discovered I can eat sourdough...... thats not good really!)

I'm 12 days in and going well - only had one day with a bit of a headache and making sure Im putting things down on the meal planner.
My first weigh in had me 6lbs down and 2 inches off my waist ao, although I know it wont be as great a loss this week, Im hoping to keep the downward journey going.
Im liking most of the food so far - initially loved the scrambled egg, but 2nd and 3rd time I tried it I hated it.
generally having a porridge type thing for breakfast, taking a bar with me to work for lunchtime, a milkshake when I get home and a meal or a lifestyle low carb 'proper' meal in the evening, depending on whether DR is round or not

Well done! I'm a week into slim and save, weigh in tomorrow morning but feeling good on it now!

Im another lb down this week - its not huge but its a move, and actually is probably nearer 2 because of my rounding up and down of decimal points. I also know that week 2 and 3 are supposed to be the 'slow' weeks where the body doesnt seem to know whats going on, so any loss is a positive in my mind.

having some fish, seafood and veg for tea. yum

well, just updating!
Ive done 5 weeks today. Ive lost 1stone 2lbs, even with a couple of days when the BBQs called to me - I stuck to meat and veg/salad/cheese - the calories may have gone to shit but I kept the carbs onside
Ive lost 5 inches off my waist, 6 1/2 off my bust!!

Most of the food is fine, although Im still not wild on the scrambled egg. I tend to have porridge or oatmeal for breakfast, a bar around 1.30, a shake around 6 and then a meal or 'proper' meal in the evening. and drinking loads. dont feel hungry too often, only had one day when I was completely wiped out but had hardly slept as had a rotten mosquito bite infection.

Im happy and 37% of my way to target!!
