Pedometer Club Week 3

Due to the problems with MN this today Charlie has given me her total for the week and asked that everyone else post their own as she is now on holiday.

I've had problems with my pedometer this week: part of the clip cracked and it kept falling off the top of my jeans. Have now taken to wearing it on my knickers on the inside of my jeans!

50,090 - not bad for my first week? Have done 8000 already today so hopefully next week will be better!

Do all of you wear your pedometers for the entire day? I've been wearing mine out of the house, but taking it off when I'm home....and struggling to get over 5,000 steps. I can't quite grasp those of you who are doing 12,000 plus per day. Not to mention my sister who reports 19,000 steps yesterday!

Saying that......I went to the shops today, and the pedometer had only registered 49 steps when I arrived - and I'd been walking for 30 minutes! I think I had it placed too far around my waist instead of right on my hip.

Earlybird,
I put mine on when I get dressed, and wear it until I get ready for bed.

Earlybird - think of all the running up and down stairs you do etc!
My DH does about 16000 a day because he works to work. When I did 11,000 the other day, I hadn't done a really big walk - just up to the shops in the morning and round to my friend's in the afternoon (about 10 mins). Probably not on right place on hip! Good luck
