Hi there,
I am doing remedial fasting atm, usually works well (especially now with 19 mo dd who is keeping me busy as I expect),
but could use some moral support those next few days.... Thanks, ladies!

It means not eating at all and just drinking lots and lots for several days. So far I just "emptied my bowels" and have been drinking several litres. It's supposed to purify the body and on day 3 following it feels really great, but usually day 2 is gruesome. Not hungry, but yearning for good food!

I've done it before (not so much for loosing weight, do that by ww and trying to care for what I eat), but (couldn't think of the word) I really felt the need to detox. Haven't done fasting for about 3 years now due to pg and bf, so I felt like doing it again. I found that it really does help and I have never felt like binging or put on weight afterwards, I have lost afterwards. It is essential though to drink enought so it is working. Can also drink hot broth which I enjoy since I am always freezing anyway when not pg/bf, can also drink diluted apple juice, not the absolutely strict type of thing. Am not trying to ruin my body!!
And I do like a bacon sandwich every once in a while!
