Anyone read this book, doing the diet?

Is it just Atkins revisited or worth buying?

hmm, don't know tbh, but read in the Guardian a couple of weeks ago that India Knight lost her weight by "sticking to Atkins with iron will for 4 months"...

I've got the book and the diet seems like pretty hardcore Atkins to me; personally, I wouldn't touch Atkins with a bargepole. However, the book is still a very worthwhile read for all the other stuff in it - how to combat comfort eating etc.

I bought it and enjoyed reading it but am not tempted by the actual diet. And I suspect that althogh they did the atkinsy-type eating, if you cut down on carbs and booze and exercised every day as they did that you would lose the weight gradually anyway.
I think the secret to their sucess was that they had each other too. I think the support of having someone who isn't bored rigid by how much you have eaten every day is invaluable.
