Weight loss and cold

Ok, I've not lost that much weight, but I've dropped a bit of fat. And suddenly I've gone from being warm all the time, hating warm weather, and loving the cold to bloody freezing to death! I'm cold even if I exercise - this morning I did about 50 minutes biking, but I'm sitting home, the house isn't that cold, I'm wearing a reasonable amount of clothing, and I'm freezing.

Is this a normal side effect of weight loss? Do I just need to start wearing lots of layers?

In June 2005, I started a diet and gym programme, and lost 2 stone in about 8 months.

Yep, know what you mean about feeling cold all the time. I had that too, still do sometimes. I can only assume it's because your body hasn't got so much 'insulation' as before.

Yeah, I think it's the insulation thing.

I've only gone down less than a stone, although to be fair, I am probably more muscly and less heavy, overall. I'm still a big girl.

Are you saying the 'being cold all the time' thing has gone away a bit for you?

I do find that heat bothers me less, at least. Last summer was not a problem for me, but pre-kids I know I would have hated that much heat.
