gastric bypass failure

Just that really. I have a friend who wants one. In the press were always hearing about people who have lost half their body weight ect. But I'm sure that their must be a percentage who lose nothing.
Does anyone have a failed bypass/band story?

Yes I have a friend who had a lap band she just lost a little weight and now it's back. She gets food stuck in her throat at times and it's painful. Has to let it come back up. Where I live they aren't doing them anymore. They are doing what is called a vertical sleeve. Less gastric bypasses also.
